Create associated columns

To create associated columns:

  1. Open the configuration menu.

  2. Under “Logging” click on “Activities.”

  3. Click on the activity you want to edit.

  4. Click on the “Logging” section.

  5. Find the table you want to add associated columns to and click the teal associated columns icon.

  6. Select your starting column. This is the column who’s list values you want to associate to other columns.

  7. Click "Next."
  8. Select your common columns (optional). Common columns are columns that you want to link to every list value in your starting column.

  9. Click "Next."
  10. Select a list value on the left that you want to associate to another column(s). The available columns will be listed on the right side of the screen.

  11. Select the columns you want associated to the selected column.

  12. Repeat steps 10 and 11 until you're done associating columns.
  13. Click the X to return to the Logging screen.

To edit common columns:

  1. Click the "Edit common columns" link.

  2. Select or deselect the columns you want to either disassociate or associate.

  3. Click "Next."

To delete common columns:

NOTE: You can not undo this action.

  1. Click the trash can icon.

  2. Follow the instructions in the dialogue.
  3. Click "Delete associations."
