Certified Results define the certified values and allowable tolerances such as Standard Deviation or Minimum/Maximum values for analytes included in Certified Reference Materials.
Certified Results can be created manually or can be imported from a CSV file.
To Create a Certified Result
- Open the configuration menu
- Under Sampling, click Sample lists
- Click Certified Results
- Navigate to the bottom of the table and click on the empty row. The following fields are available to describe the Certified Result. Fields denoted with * are mandatory
- CRM Code *
- Sample Decomposition *
- Analytical Method *
- Element *
- Unit *
- Certified Values
- Standard Deviation
- 95% Confidence
- Minimum Value
- Maximum Value
To Import Analytical Methods:
- Open the configuration menu
- Under Sampling, click Sample lists
- Click Analytical Methods
- Click the Import button on the top right-hand corner of the window
- Click the Browse link and select your CSV file
- Click the Import button
TIP: to quickly produce the file format needed by the Import, first Export the Analytical Methods data using the Export button, and then work within that file. Note that entries that already exist cannot be re-imported or updated and should be removed from the file before importing any new Analytical Methods.
NOTES:
- In order for the Certificate Import to properly validate Reference Material and Certified Results, the following fields in Certified Results need to exactly match what is in Lab Services and Method Details:
- Sample Decomposition
- Analytical Method
- Element
- Unit
If these fields do not match exactly then the validation will not be performed.
